4. Why we use your information
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
Managing your reservations and stay (confirmations, check-in instructions, assistance)
Responding to your inquiries about our management services
Preparing an analysis or proposal for your property
Ensuring the security of our properties and compliance with rental conditions
Improving our website and services
Sending you communications, with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time
Complying with our legal obligations (including tax obligations and Quebec tourist accommodation regulations)
We never sell your personal information.
5. With whom we share your information
Your information may be disclosed only to third parties necessary for providing our services:
Hostaway — booking management platform and website hosting provider
Booking platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com) when your reservation is processed through them
Secure payment providers
Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — as part of our advertisements and forms, in accordance with their policies
Service providers (cleaning, maintenance) — only the information necessary to prepare for your stay
Some of these providers may store data outside Quebec (including in the United States). In such cases, we ensure that the information receives adequate protection in accordance with the law.
6. Retention of your information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for the periods required by law (for example, tax obligations). It is then securely destroyed or anonymized.
7. Protection of your information
We implement reasonable security measures (restricted access, passwords, certified providers) to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, as required by law.
